What Youll Do
• Implement Behavior Plans:Follow individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervisingBCBA.
• Behavioral Support Strategies:Utilize behavior-analytic strategies such asDiscrete Trial Training (DTT), Naturalistic Teaching, and Reinforcement Techniquesto support clients.
• Data Collection & Documentation:Accuratelytrack client progressand submitsession notesin compliance with UTC policies.
• Client Engagement:Providepositive reinforcementand professional communication to encourage skill development and behavior improvement.
• Collaboration:Work closely withBCBAs, therapists, and caregiversto ensure consistency in intervention across all settings.
• Challenging Behaviors:Manage and addresschallenging behaviorsaccording to individualized behavior plans and training.
• Confidentiality & Professionalism:Adhere toHIPAA regulationsand maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.
• Ongoing Training:Participate in required training andcontinuing educationopportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
Schedule
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Preferred, but not required)
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (Preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test (Required)
• Reliable transportation to client locations (Required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual, Spanish speaking (Preferred).
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
