Job Description

Our Autism School, in partnership with the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio and local school districts, provides a blended learning environment focused on language development, behavioral supports, and academic achievement. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively with students, families, school districts, and therapists to deliver evidence-based, individualized instruction that helps every student reach their full potential.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Autism School team. In this role, you will partner with the classroom teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as part of an interdisciplinary team to implement behavior supports, support classroom routines, and help students build skills that increase independence and learning.
Location: Westlake, OH
Hours: Full-time position following the school calendar (Approx. 8:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.)
Pay Range: $17.15 - $20.91 per hour
Working Days: Monday through Friday following the Autism School calendar
Hours per Week: Approximately 35–40 hours per week
Hours per Day: Approximately 7–8 hours per day
Pay Schedule: Enjoy consistent, year-round income with pay distributed over 26 pay periods, even while following the school calendar.
What You Will Do
• Provide behavioral support to the teacher and classroom team
• Support daily classroom routines and program operations
• Assist students with instructional and non-instructional activities as directed by the BCBA and classroom team
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans with fidelity
• Collect and document data to monitor student progress
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Associate degree in Education or a related field, or two years of college coursework in Education, Special Education, or a related area
• At least one year of experience working directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental disabilities in a home, school, or clinical setting
• Working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Ability to obtain an Ohio Aide Permit or Paraprofessional License
Preferred
• One to two years of experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in an educational setting
• Strong skills in data collection, de-escalation, and collaborative communication
• Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary educational or clinical team
Sign-On Bonus
Receive a $500 sign-on bonus paid as follows:
