Duties
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine behavioral needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Design, implement, and supervise evidence-based behavioral interventions grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
• Provide direct patient care through one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring engagement and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and facilitate consistent intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient assessments, intake forms, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate caregivers and staff on behavioral techniques, data collection methods, and best practices for working with individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications
• Valid certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent credential.
• Demonstrated experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and special education principles.
• Experience conducting patient assessments, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluations within a behavioral health setting.
• Proficiency in data collection methods, medical documentation, medical terminology, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate families.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES provides consultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implements behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioral deficits. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES acts as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the school setting.
Minimum Requirements:
• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field
• Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools
• One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
