• Hourly rate is $26-28 an hour.
• Schedule includes one weekend shift
• This is a Full-Time position and it is eligible for overtime.
In this position you will assist and support adults with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible while enjoying all aspects of Community Living.
Responsibilities include:
• Serving as a role model for staff in all areas of client programming, client services and professional practice.
• Supervising Assistant Program Coordinator and Program Specialist staff.
• Helping to oversee the day-to-day operation of a residential program for adults with autism.
• Schedule includes evening and weekend shifts.
• This position will include being on ratio at least 1-2 days per week and assisting with the hands-on direct care support of the adults in our care.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
• At least 2 years of experience working in a residential environment working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Supervisory or lead experience (can be in a different industry)
• Good communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Must have MAP Certification
• Must have a valid Mass or NH driver’s license (or be able to get one in 60 days) and a good driving record.

The NEEDS Center specializes in providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and/or dual diagnosis. The NEEDS Center’s philosophy is rooted in the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Positive Behavior Support (PSB). The services and supports provided by the NEEDS Center draw on the best of both disciplines to assist individuals to become as independent as they can be.
