Qualifications

• •The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a nursing leadership position, a strong ability to work with a team, and an in-depth knowledge of mental health care
• •Must hold a current, valid LPN or EMT license
• •Minimum of 1 year providing direct patient care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders is required, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• •The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality of care throughout the inpatient facility
• •They may also help manage and train our unit staff
• •Maintaining high standards of care
• •Managing patients' data and medical records with confidentiality and sensitivity
• •Interacting with doctors, patients and family members
• •Medication dispensation and maintaining accurate records
• •Documenting patient observations and clinical notes
• •Overseeing the unit to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure the safety of the patients
• •Collect vital signs
• •Collect blood, urine or other laboratory specimens, and prepare them for testing
• •Provide clinical support to physicians during patient examinations and procedures, as needed
• •Prepare and maintain treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the room stocked and cleaned, reorder supplies, and dispose of bio-hazardous supplies
