Description:

As an ABA Behavioral Therapist, you’ll provide individualized, evidence-based therapy to children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), in their natural environments (home, school, community). Your work will focus on fostering growth in communication, social, and adaptive skills while adhering to California’s regulatory and ethical standards.

You’ll be a critical part of our founding team in Solano County, helping us build a foundation of trust and care with the families we serve.

Service Area:

In-person services will be delivered across Vallejo, Fairfield, and Vacaville, CA, and surrounding areas.

Pay Range:

$21.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Mileage & phone reimbursement

Schedule:
• Hours available between Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Deliver therapy sessions based on treatment plans designed by BCBAs
• Utilize ABA principles to teach communication, social, and self-help skills
• Collect and record accurate data on client progress
• Communicate effectively with families, offering guidance and feedback
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and adjust goals
• Follow HIPAA and California privacy regulations
• Work independently and travel to client homes as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:
• HS Diploma or GED required

Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in ABA or developmental disability settings

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, empathy, and professionalism
• Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Additional Requirements:
• Must be 18+ years old
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs, run, bend, sit, and stand for long periods
• Reliable transportation
• Live Scan background check and TB test clearance required before start date
• Ability to travel up to 30 miles within service area
