Practice Info
• Examine adult patients 18 years and older
• Full access to several sub-specialists, imaging, lab services, patient education
• EPIC electronic health record is used throughout our organization for patient care
• Supported by nursing and administrative staff
• Periodic hospital call admitting only Kelsey-Seybold patients
• Certain call groups have nocturnists managing admissions overnight
Responsibilities
• Examine adult patients 18 years and older to ensure proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of various medical conditions
• Order medically necessary tests
• Perform follow-up visits
• Place referrals to specialists when needed
• Interpret basic medical tests and imaging in planning care for our patients
• Take periodic hospital call admitting only Kelsey-Seybold patients
• Other assignments, projects, and duties within the realm of Internal Medicine may be required
Shift & Schedule
• See patients in office from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
• Typically, you are not required to stay overnight in hospitals
Requirements
• Medical Degree (MD, DO)
• Graduate of an approved training program in the United States
• Licensed in the State of Texas
• Board Certified and/or Board Eligible
• Kelsey Seybold Clinic accepts H1B Visas
