Job Description
The preferred candidate will have teaching strengths that support a variety of courses across the sports management curricula. The potential to develop additional courses in the candidate's area of expertise are available.
Research
Clinical-track faculty are not expected to maintain an active scholarship portfolio.
Service
All HHS faculty members are expected to provide service to the University, college, department, profession and the community. Consistent with the mission of CEHHS and the University, professional service contributions to the Dearborn and regional community are valued as well as national and international contributions. Engagement in service activities at multiple levels is required. The quality and impact of service contributions is more important than the number of different service activities.
Term of appointment
Clinical instructional track appointments will be without tenure. The first appointment will be for a minimum of one year to a maximum of three years. The subsequent reappointment may be for a period of up to three years.

Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Sport Management or a related field is required. Candidates who are ABD and will complete their doctoral degree by August 15, 2024 are eligible to apply.
• Experience in developing and delivering face-to-face and online instruction at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• A desire to engage in recruitment and retention of students.
• A commitment to high impact practices and the ability to teach a variety of courses across the curriculum
• An interest in supervising student practicum experiences.
• A commitment to building connections with diverse student populations
• A commitment to establishing relationships with community business partners.
• Relevant teaching experience/interests and demonstrated effective project-based learning.
• A commitment to supporting the department's COSMA accreditation efforts
