The Lead Therapist (Licensed) opportunity is a key member of the Lighthouse Clinical Services Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric therapeutic strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective treatment is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements.
The Lead Therapist is responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.
Job Duties /Responsibilities:
• assisting law enforcement, family members and others during treatment, both voluntary and involuntary.
• referrals to community resources as appropriate.
• functioning as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the community relations program of the organization.
• participates in continuous performance improvement activities of clinical services.
• communicating with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers.
• lead therapist will also be responsible for taking the role and responsibilities of the Director of Clinical Services as necessary.
• creating and implementing programming schedules, providing clinical supervision to interns, and oversee groups
• ensuring that clinical services is in compliance with all regulatory standards
• ensuring validity of psychosocial assessments, active treatment, and discharge planning
• ensuring therapeutic Treatment Plans are in accordance with regulations and within required time frames
• representing Social Services department in interdepartmental meetings and facilitating open communication between Social Services and other departments
• assist with coordination of partial hospitalization and outpatient programs

Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field.
Licensure required. (LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, etc)
