One year experience in a health or human service agency, and in a drug and alcohol setting is preferred.

You will work onsite Monday-Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm

We are seeking a passionate Drug and Alcohol Counselor to join our dedicated team at the Parkside Recovery Program in Philadelphia, PA , working alongside professionals committed to changing lives and strengthening communities.

The Counselor provides highquality clinical services, including individual and group therapy, care coordination, and compliant documentation. This role supports client engagement and recovery through effective treatment planning and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Clinical Care : Provide individual and group therapy; Care Coordination : Collaborate with case managers and multidisciplinary team members to support client needs and facilitate appropriate referrals and community linkages.

Program & Compliance: Adhere to ethical, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements; follow organizational policies; participate in supervision, trainings, and quality improvement activities; Earn $24.06 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling
