Job Description

Up to $28/hour ($32/hour RBT) | School-Based | Daly City, CA

Are you passionate about helping students with behavioral needs reach their full potential in the classroom? Ro Health is looking for dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technicians/Registered Behavioral Technicians to support local school districts in the Daly City and San Francisco Area.

We are currently hiring for individuals interested in a Full-Time, Part-Time or On-Call positions. This position would involve working in close proximity to the teacher and providing behavioral support to students when applicable. We are looking for someone interested in committing to this position long-term. Experience working and supporting kids with special needs, and providing a mix of 1:1 and general support is preferred.

Physical Demands: This position regularly requires employees to talk, hear, and communicate with both children and adults. Employees are frequently required to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The position may frequently require lifting, bending, and crouching. The employee may occasionally lift/move up to 40 pounds.

Our providers are assigned to cases as either 1:1 supports, or as a general classroom aide.
• As a 1:1 support: you would be going to each class with your student to provide behavioral and educational support throughout the day. 1:1 supporters are responsible to ensure their student is on task and working towards their behavioral goals.
• General classroom supports: providers who are assigned to work with a single teacher or classroom. In this role, providers will support wherever they are needed most by the teacher. Typically every day looks different in this position, and you may be working with several different students throughout your day.

Overview:
• In-person
• Geographic location: Daly City, San Bruno, Pacifica, San Francisco
• Schedule: M-F (8:00 AM - 3:30PM time frame), On Call
• Start date: August 2026 (2026-2027 School Year)

Responsibilities:
• Providing support either in a 1:1 or general capacity
• Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adults
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)

Qualifications:
• At a minimum, candidates must be instructionally eligible
• Experience in childcare and/or ABA
• Associate’s degree preferred
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment skills
• Passion for supporting students in the learning process
• Inclination to work well in a team environment
