Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive outpatient care including wellness exams, chronic disease management, and acute care services
• Perform physical examinations, diagnose conditions, and create individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs and imaging
• Educate patients and families on preventive care, health maintenance, and disease management
• Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) in accordance with hospital policy
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines
• Provide supervision or support for advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs) as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned

Qualifications
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain)
• Current DEA license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain)
• Excellent communication, clinical, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care

Qualifications
