As a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and other specialists to deliver one-on-one behavioral support and intervention. This contract opportunity spans from mid-June through July, offering structured hours and the chance to make a meaningful difference during the crucial summer session.

Key Qualifications
• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success working with students exhibiting moderate to severe aggressive behaviors
• Solid understanding of ABA principles and data-driven intervention strategies
• Excellent communication skills and an empathetic, patient approach
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt interventions as needed Your Responsibilities:
• Provide direct behavioral support to a 4th grade student in accordance with their Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and accurately record behavioral data to inform ongoing interventions
• Participate in regular team meetings and collaborate on strategies for progress
• Communicate effectively with educators, administrators, and caregivers to ensure a cohesive approach
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment, always upholding ethical standards and student confidentiality This role offers a unique blend of hands-on experience and professional collaboration in a supportive school community.
