SALARY:

Per Rochester Education Association Master Agreement

JOB GOAL:

To devise and implement individualized programs for students who have special needs which prevent them from learning through traditional means.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Comply with timelines, laws and regulations that relate to district, state, federal policies and procedures.
• Monitor and document student progress on IEP goals.
• Collaborate with all service providers, and other staff to develop instruction and support goals that are designed to meet the learning needs of students.
• Compile and submit monthly Medicaid reports.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students.
• Participate in building meetings as directed by the building principal.
• Performs other duties as requested by the Assistant Superintendent or Building Principal.

Qualifications

  • Must hold valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
  • Must be certified in Autism Spectrum Disorder - SV
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
