Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your energetic approach will help foster positive behavioral change, support skill development, and promote independence. Responsibilities
• Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
• Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage desired behaviors and manage behavioral challenges effectively
• Support clients in developing communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors through engaging teaching methods
• Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and document all sessions thoroughly in medical records
• Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans tailored to each individual’s needs

Qualifications
• Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification prior to employment
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods
• Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior plans consistently and patiently
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation, and HIPAA privacy standards
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care and teaching
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in behavioral health and special education fields

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
