Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Registered Behavior Technician. This contract role allows you to make a daily difference by providing one-on-one behavioral interventions for a single student within a supportive school environment. Your expertise in pediatric behavioral health will be key as you work closely with students, educators, and families to foster positive growth throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is required
• Experience supporting students in school settings, including early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school
• Background working with behavioral caseloads or providing 1:1 support strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices in pediatric populations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with educators, families, and other support staff
• Strong organizational skills to document progress and manage daily responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver one-on-one ABA-based behavioral interventions to a K-12 student within the school setting
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to set and pursue targeted student goals
• Collect and maintain data on student behavior, providing progress updates to the supervising BCBA and educational team
• Implement behavior intervention plans consistently and effectively
• Adapt strategies as recommended to promote student success and independence
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a compassionate approach at all times
