Position Overview: We’re looking for a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Urgent Care team. You’ll assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality care, perform basic medical procedures, and help with front-office operations in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Skills desired for our Medical Assistants:
• Record vital signs, medical history, and symptoms
• Perform point-of-care testing (Blood draws, flu, strep, urinalysis, etc.)
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
• Assist with wound care, splints, and minor medical procedures
• Collect and process lab specimens; perform EKGs when needed
• Register patients, verify insurance, and handle co-pays
• Enter and update patient information in the EHR system
• Support accurate documentation and maintain HIPAA compliance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
