Qualifications
- •To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

- •5+ years of experience in asphalt paving, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
- •Strong knowledge of paving materials, equipment (pavers, rollers, etc.), and techniques
- •Ability to read and understand blueprints, grades, and paving specs
- •Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- •Proven track record of managing productivity, quality, and safety in the field
- •Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
- •Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area

Responsibilities
- •The Paving Foreman is responsible for supervising daily job site operations, ensuring crew productivity, maintaining high-quality workmanship, and enforcing safety standards
- •This role plays a key part in delivering jobs on time, on budget, and to client specifications
- •Lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the paving crew
- •Read and interpret project plans, grades, and specifications
- •Plan daily tasks and allocate resources, equipment, and manpower accordingly
- •Monitor and adjust paving operations to ensure proper compaction, thickness, and smoothness
- •Ensure crew members follow safety policies, wear proper PPE, and comply with all site protocols
- •Complete detailed daily reports using construction management software, including tracking work performed, materials used, and labor hours for all employees
- •Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with job specs
- •Work closely with the Superintendent or Project Manager to address schedule changes and site issues
