Job Summary
The RBT is responsible to implement and adhere to structured behavioral plans, guidelines and interventions for the Residents living in a specialized Intense Behavioral Home. They help create a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment while embracing the values and mission of American Training, Inc., including dignity, respect, and WOW! Magic in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Follow a designated protocol for health and physician’s orders and Applied Behavioral Analysis based plans and practices.
• Implement the plan to achieve Resident’s goals and adhere to specific intensive and targeted behavioral plans.
• Complete daily documentation and report on residential and programmatic progress including multiple data fields on behavioral interventions.
• Significant data collection and interface with BCBA’s on Behavior Plan efficacy
• Use appropriate, approved behavioral and physical management techniques to ensure safety of Colleagues and Residents in a variety of settings..
Requirements
• RBT Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with individuals with behavioral and/or clinical challenges.
• PABC training to be completed by 30 days of hire.
• First Aid/CPR required.
• MAP training and course completion within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to work 3-11 and overnight shifts. Must include one weekend day.
