Responsibilities

• •As a Lead Cashier at Lowe's, you support and guide the Front End team while ensuring customer transactions are handled accurately and efficiently
• •You lead by example, delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining store safety and operational standards
• •Oversee and assist customers at multiple assisted self-checkout stations
• •Welcome customers proactively, recommend products and services, and facilitate a smooth checkout process
• •Deliver SMART customer service by following Lowe's service policies and procedures
• •Help customers find, select, carry, or load merchandise as needed
• •Respond to questions from customers and employees and provide project support when required
• •Supervise, coach, and support Front End and Loader teams
• •Process sales transactions, returns, refunds, and provide change to associates as needed
• •Open extra registers to ensure coverage and assist with managing customer lines
• •Inspect returned items for damage and handle online orders, customer orders, and receipts
• •Assist with price checks, product lookups, and managing store use merchandise
• •Monitor store entrances and exits, respond to alarms, and help prevent theft or security issues
• •Maintain housekeeping and safety standards throughout the store and work areas
• •Operate relevant store equipment such as Zebra phones, registers, CCTV, and paint mixers
• •Follow safety protocols including proper use of top stock safety, aisle blockers, and power equipment with tether lines
