Job Description
Make a positive impact working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a dynamic school environment supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position involves working one-on-one with students to deliver effective behavioral interventions, collaborating closely with teachers and school staff to promote positive educational outcomes.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Active licensure as required by state regulations
• Experience supporting students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and ABA principles
• Ability to work independently with a 1:1 student focus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled at maintaining accurate documentation of progress and services
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of different age groups and learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Work directly with students in a 1:1 setting, reinforcing positive behaviors and supporting academic engagement
• Collect and record data on student progress and behavior
• Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents about strategies and student achievements
• Adjust techniques based on ongoing feedback and observed student needs
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions
