Job Description

 informed and compassionate care for a variety of vision and eye conditions, including adult and pediatric retina, glaucoma, cataracts, cornea, neuro-ophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology, external eye diseases, and emergency services. Additionally we offer high quality and personalized LASIK and refractive surgery, as well as a full range of optometry services including contact lenses and eyeglasses.

Major/Essential Functions
• Conduct exams, diagnose and treat eye disorders and track progress.
• Educate children and parents on eye health and preventive care.
• Perform pediatric ophthalmology surgical procedures to correct congenital, developmental or traumatic eye conditions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including multidisciplinary teams, to manage eye-related issues in children.
• Prepares and completes timely and accurate documentation for medical records.
• Participates in the training and education of learners including medical students and residents.

Required Qualifications
• Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or Foreign Medical Equivalent Degree;
• Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3;
• Completion of an Ophthalmology Residency; and
• Completion of, or in the process of completing, a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology.
