Job Description

Crossroads Center for Children is looking for a full-time Special Education Teacher to work with children ages 2–10 who have autism and other developmental needs. The school is located in Princetown, NY (near Schenectady).

What You Will Do
• Teach: Lead a classroom of young children, helping them learn to talk, play, increase social skills, and build daily life skills.
• Use ABA: Teach using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods, including tracking data and using structured teaching.
• Lead a Team: Guide the teaching assistants in your room and work closely with behavior experts (BCBAs) and therapists.
• Paperwork: Write reports, keep student binders updated, and help follow individual education plans (IEPs).

Requirements
• Certification: A teaching certificate is preferred (ideally in Early Childhood or Special Education).
• Experience: Experience working with young children or special education is preferred.
