Key Responsibilities
Behavior Technicians play a key role in helping children develop communication, social, and daily living skills. In this position, you will use evidence-based behavioral interventions to teach new skills and reduce behaviors that may impact safety or independence. Applicants with coursework or degrees in psychology, education, human services, or similar fields are strongly encouraged to apply. Being successful in this role requires reliability, compassion, professionalism, and a genuine desire to support meaningful progress in children's lives.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance listing them as a covered driver. A current negative TB test is required. Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving skills, creativity, and professionalism are essential for this role. The position may require lifting up to 50 pounds and collaborating closely with a clinical team. Cancellation Policy
To protect staff time and earnings, we maintain a clear cancellation policy. Paid cancellations are provided for up to 2 hours of pay if a client cancels within 30 minutes or less of the scheduled start time and/or technician has already departed for the session. We also actively monitor and address excessive client cancellations to protect technician schedules and maintain consistent hours.
