Job Description
Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Hybrid
EssentialFunctions andResponsibilities:
• Complete all aspects of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior support plans (BSP) for clients from birth to 18(dependent upon BCBA's scope of practice)
• Conduct assessments (e.g.VB-MAPP,AFLS, Vineland and other supplemental assessments based on the need of the client).
• Go into the homes to conduct FBAs, complete progress monitoring, and to provide direct supervision to RBTs/BTs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans (e.g., goals, objectives, and interventions)
• Providedirectcasesupervisionto BTs and monitor client progress towards goals.
• Provide parent trainingbasedon the principles of ABA.
• Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and BCBA candidates as outlined in the BCBA Supervision Contract
• Ensure 85%fulfillment of authorized client hoursfor your assignedcaseload
• Minimize cancellations of scheduled sessions for your assigned caseload. Locate substitutes for therapist call out and/or provide direct therapy if a substitute BT is not available(e.g.Only within the funding sources with a 2-tier model or in the case you are the sole supervisor for a client within a 3-tier modeland a substitute BT is unavailable)
• Open to feedback from the ABA Director and Clinical Director to support your growth within thecompany
• Must be willing to complete FBAs both in-person and via telehealth (if clinically appropriate)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis treatment to children with Autism
• Strong administrative skillswith a working knowledge ofcommonscheduling andbilling practices in the ABA field
• Current knowledge of treatment practices and a drive to continually learn about and explore new treatment practices that may benefit ourclients
• Must have a strong/abilitydesire to work with a wide array of patients (age, race, ethnicity,etc)
• Able to be highly flexible and agile (we are living and working in a very dynamic time right now)
• Able to behighly collaborative, team-oriented and customer servicedriven
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between homes in the Coachella Valley area.
• Must have a valid California Driver's license in good standing.
Licensing/Credential and/or Education Requirements:
• Current and unrestricted BCBA certification from the BACB
• Must possess a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or relatedfield
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently or for prolonged periods of time. Additionally,physicalabilitiesinclude lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping/crouching, reaching/handling/fingering,talking/hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity/depth perception/color vision/fieldofvision.
