Public Service Worker I (Part-Time)

Behavioral Health Market Context

•High school diploma or GED; supplemented by some experience relating to construction, maintenance, or repair; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
•Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment
•Must have or be able to obtain tree trimming, fertilizer, and arbor certificates
•Must have a valid Florida driver's license and maintain satisfactory driving record throughout employment
•Two (2) positions available: (1) Landscaping, (1) Clean City Services
•Applicants who demonstrate they meet the minimum requirements may be subject to an extensive selection process and screening program, which may include, but not limited to, evaluation of training and experience; background investigation; medical evaluation; controlled substance screening
•Preference will be given to certain veterans, spouses of veterans, or unremarried widows/widowers of veterans
•Proof of veterans eligibility must be provided at time of application
