Job Description
to a 4th-grade student in a home setting.
• Provide therapy services to a 2nd-grade student within a school environment.
• Support up to two students at a private day school in Manassas temporarily, while a new therapist is sought.
• Collaborate with educational staff and family members to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and ensure compliance with all state requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Active Virginia SLP licensure is mandatory.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates with appropriate licensure are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work on-site with no virtual therapy options available.
• Must complete the Virginia Department of Social Services background check promptly.
• Required to have a current TB test as per Virginia state regulations.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility with scheduling within the specified hours.
Position Details:
• Location: Northern Virginia, including Stafford County and Manassas.
• Employment Type: Part-time contract.
• Hours: 10-15 hours per week.
• Contract Dates: Immediate start through May 29, 2026.
• Caseload: Three schools/locations.
