Practice Info
• Provide specialty care in General Obstetrics and Gynecology at VCU Health
• Care primarily in general Obstetrics and Gynecology, including surgery, in- and outpatient consultation and performance of therapeutic procedures
• Participation in student and resident education
• Participation in the department’s clinical research activities
• Clinical activities are to be determined by the general obstetrics and gynecology division head and are expected to include a combination of clinic, inpatient care, surgery, and participation in nighttime call duties as appropriate

Responsibilities
• Actively participate in the department’s educational activities, with particular attention to educating students and residents in their core educational objectives in general obstetrics and gynecology
• Initiate clinical research projects, participate in and facilitate other department research, and contribute to scholarly publications/presentations
• Serve on departmental, health system, and university committees as necessary, as well as in a professional capacity in their field
• Fully participate in the clinical activities of the general obstetrics and gynecology division
• Participate in department and institutional administrative activities as assigned by the division head and department chair

Requirements
• Completion of ACGME accredited OB/GYN residency
• Eligible for a Virginia medical license
• Potential for scholarship or creative expression to complement and expand existing expertise in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
• Completion of an ACGME accredited OB/GYN residency
• Demonstrated talent and experience in teaching and commitment to research, and patient care
• BC/BE by the American Board of OB/GYN
