What You'll Do:

The Behavior Consultant provides services through the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Program, working directly with clients in home, community, and workplace settings. This role focuses on assessment, behavior planning, and collaboration with caregivers and support teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct behavioral assessments and observations
• Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans
• Provide consultation and training to caregivers and staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Travel to client homes, day programs, and community settings

Qualifications

Required:
• Master’s Degree in:
• Social Work
• Counseling
• Marriage & Family Therapy
• Psychology (clinical, counseling, or related field)
• Special Education

Additional Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Negative TB test
• Professional references

Life Strategies has 3 office locations: Crown Point, Chesterton, and South Bend, IN

Services Provided in Lake, Porter, and St Joseph Counties, IN

Position involves hybrid between office work and traveling within the county to serve client needs.
