If you’re someone who believes that hands-on support and guidance can create real, lasting change, this role was built for you. As a Therapeutic Behavioral Aide at Health Connect America, you’ll work directly with individuals to provide behavioral support, skill-building, and personalized interventions—helping them gain independence and improve their quality of life.
What You'll Do
As a Therapeutic Behavioral Aide, you’ll provide direct care and behavioral support to individuals, working closely with families and treatment teams. Day to day, you can expect to:
• Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions and support daily living, social, and community skills
• Assist individuals in developing self-directed, appropriate behaviors and internalizing social responsibility
• Support group and individual activities, promoting engagement and skill acquisition
• Collaborate with treatment teams and families to implement behavioral plans and reinforce progress
• Maintain client safety and provide guidance using evidence-based reinforcement and de-escalation techniques
• Document services, progress notes, and required records accurately and timely in accordance with company standards
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery

This role is hands-on, client-focused, and requires patience, consistency, and adaptability. You’ll work directly with individuals facing developmental, behavioral, or emotional challenges, providing support both in structured activities and community settings.
Your work will be essential in fostering independence, enhancing daily functioning, and helping individuals successfully participate in their homes and communities.
Supporting Quality & Compliance
You’ll ensure all services comply with Health Connect America policies, state regulations, and program standards. Through diligent documentation, consistent interventions, and collaboration with families and care teams, you’ll help maintain high-quality, safe, and effective care.
Qualifications:
We welcome candidates who bring a genuine commitment to supporting individuals and families and meet the following qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree is preferred
• Human services experience is preferred
• Must possess current CPR/First Aid, NCI certification, and Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) training, or complete required training and certification within mandated timeframes
• Must have a valid driver’s license, current vehicle registration, and insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services; driving record must be in good standing
