Position responsibilities:
• Maintaining high standards of care
• Managing patients' data and medical records with confidentiality and sensitivity
• Interacting with doctors, patients and family members

This position also includes the following duties:
• Medication dispensation and maintaining accurate records
• Documenting patient observations and clinical notes
• Overseeing the unit to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure the safety of the patients
• Collect vital signs
• Provide clinical support to physicians during patient examinations and procedures, as needed
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the room stocked and cleaned, reorder supplies, and dispose of bio-hazardous supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Must hold a current, valid LVN license

Minimum of 1 year providing direct patient care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders is required, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a nursing leadership position, a strong ability to work with a team, and an in-depth knowledge of mental health care
  • Must hold a current, valid LVN license
