WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one‑on‑one with children with autism, implementing ABA therapy techniques to help them develop daily living, communication, and social skills. Service locations include in‑center, in‑home, in‑school and in the community.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Engaging children in structured, play‑based learning to encourage communication, independence, and problem‑solving skills.
• Implementing behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA to address and improve:
• Language acquisition
• Functional communication training
• Social skills training
• Daily living skills
• Reducing maladaptive behaviors
• Community safety skills
• Tracking progress and collecting data to monitor each child’s improvements.
• Providing consistency and structure to help children feel secure and supported.
• Collaborating with families, supervisors, and a team of professionals dedicated to each child’s success.
• This role requires patience, adaptability, and a passion for working with children. It can be challenging, but it is incredibly rewarding.
