- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably children
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and team members
- Ability to collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt treatment plans as needed
- Commitment to providing high-quality care in a compassionate manner

Company DescriptionFlourishing Minds provides Behavioral Consultation services to public school districts on Long Island, Westchester and Dutchess County. Staff are required to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments, create and implement Behavior Intervention Plans, analyze data as needed, conduct professional development for staff, and parent training and counseling.

Qualifications

Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
  • Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans
  • Provide parent training sessions when needed remotely or during school hours
  • Provide training and supervision to other staff members within the district
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans
