Job Description

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred)
• Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activity throughout the day
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate demeanor
• RBT certification preferred (organization may provide training and supervision for certification)
Job Responsibilities
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as designed by the supervising BCBA
• Collect accurate and consistent data on target behaviors and skill goals during each therapy session
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies to promote learning and independence
• Assist with daily routines including transitions, toileting, meals, and playtime as appropriate
• Collaborate with the clinical team to review progress and make recommendations for program adjustments
• Follow all ethical guidelines outlined by the BACB and organizational policies

Responsibilities
- •This is an in-office, part-time position, and schedule is to be determined, but will be between the hours of 9am-5pm
- •The RBT provides direct one-on-one and small-group therapy to children with autism and related developmental disabilities in a center-based environment
