• Employment Type: Traveler
Hiring a full time RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) to work with high school students at one school for the upcoming school year. Location is in the Cedar Park/Desoto, TX vicinity. Qualifications: An RBT working in a Texas elementary school needs to: Hold a valid BACB RBT credential (national) Obtain a TEA Educational Aide certificate (Level I, II, or III depending on education level) within one year of hire Pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting Work under the ongoing supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA as required by the BACB Be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent Key Responsibilities Implementation: Deliver 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based on treatment plans, including in-school, home, or clinic settings. Data Collection: Accurately record behavioral and skill acquisition data during sessions. Behavior Management: Utilize behavioral redirection and de-escalation techniques to manage student behaviors. Collaboration: Work with BCBAs, educators, and families to support student progress. Skill Development: Teach social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
