Job Description

Location: North Bay / Solano County (multiple cities)

Job Type: W2 (part‐time)

Pay: $30 to $35/hr based on experience

Looking to start (or grow) your career in ABA with a team that actually invests in you?

IMPORTANT: Please only apply if you are seriously interested in working as a Behavior Technician. This is a hands‐on, direct‐care role working 1:1 with children with autism. If you're applying for BCBA or Program Supervisor roles, please apply to those listings instead.

We're hiring Behavior Technicians for a new region where cases come with more authorized hours per client. That means more consistent hours with the same families, real relationships with the kids you work with, and the kind of mentorship from BCBAs that actually helps you grow.

Why BTs are interested in this role
• Consistent hours with the same clients (less bouncing between cases)
• Start with a small caseload, grow as more clients come
• $30 to $35/hr depending on experience
• Full benefits package available for qualified employees meeting minimum hours
• Mileage reimbursement
• Paid training and RBT certification support
• Clear path to Program Supervisor and BCBA roles for the right people
• Strong BCBA mentorship that actually helps you level up

What you'll be doing
• Working 1:1 with children with autism, running ABA programs designed by your BCBA
• Implementing behavior plans and collecting session data
• Building real relationships with families
• Mix of in‐home, community, and telehealth sessions across Marin and Solano counties

The region
We cover cases in Larkspur, San Rafael, Novato, Vallejo, Fairfield, and Vacaville. Early on you'd take cases across these cities as they come in. As we grow the team, we'll match you to clients closer to where you live.
What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree (required, minimum) — in ABA, Psychology, Education, Child Development, Social Work, or related field
• 2+ years of hands‐on ABA experience is a strong plus
• RBT certification preferred (we'll support you in getting certified if not)
• Genuine interest in working with children with autism
• Spanish speaking is a strong plus (many families in this region speak Spanish at home)
• Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation
• Available for after‐school hours (3 PM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday) and/or weekends
• Comfortable covering a wider region in the short term

How to apply
Apply directly through our careers page at https://www.behaviatherapy.com/rbt-application, or email [email protected] with any questions.

We respond to every application within 48 hours.
