Role Description

Papillon Health & Wellness is seeking a Part-Time IDEA Therapist to provide school-based support in one Martin County school.

Position details:

Part-time

Martin County, Florida

$30/hour

Master’s degree required

Supervision available for candidates seeking internship or licensure hours

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and passionate about supporting children and adolescents in a school setting. This role is a meaningful opportunity to provide direct therapeutic support, collaborate with school staff, and make a real impact in the lives of students and families.

Ideal candidates will have:

A master’s degree in a related field

Experience or interest in working with children, teens, and families

Strong communication and documentation skills

A trauma-informed, student-centered approach

Supervision is available for those who are working toward internship completion or licensure, making this a strong opportunity for emerging clinicians who want both support and experience.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in individual and group counseling, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care and therapeutic relationship-building.
• Experience in developing treatment plans, conducting client assessments, and utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Strong knowledge of alternative therapies and holistic approaches to mental health and wellness.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible as a mental health professional in the state of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with maintaining client records in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Master’s degree or higher in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Prior experience in trauma-informed therapy or holistic treatment methods preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with current mental health practices.
