Role Description

This is a contract role (1099) for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with options to work in Davidson, Salisbury, Matthews, or remotely. The hours are flexible, allowing for 16 to 40 hours weekly. The primary responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, and creating and monitoring individualized care plans. The role involves providing medication management, patient education, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Strong commitment to patient-centered care and adherence to ethical and clinical standards is essential.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric Care.
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in mental health and nursing practices.
• Strong foundation in providing Mental Health Care and addressing psychiatric needs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Current and active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification in psychiatric and mental health nursing (PMHNP-BC) preferred.
• Commitment to continuing education and staying updated with advancements in the field.
