How you’ll make an impact in this role
• Assist providers and nurses with patient treatments and clinical procedures while maintaining a sterile and organized examination environment.
• Conduct patient interviews to document medical histories, chief complaints, and accurate vital signs within electronic health records (EHR).
• Document real-time provider encounters, including the transcription of diagnoses, symptoms, prescriptions, and follow-up care instructions.
• Process and track clinical orders for laboratory tests, radiology imaging, and medications as directed by the healthcare provider.
• Manage essential front-office duties, including medical filing, phone triage, and the procurement of clinical supplies to ensure seamless clinic workflow.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
Education:
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
