Job Description
h Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) graduate programs nationwide to create a consistent pipeline of Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and licensed SLPs. This highly visible, travel-focused role represents the company on campus, educates students about career opportunities in school-based settings, and drives early-career hiring outcomes. This position is ideal for a relationship-driven recruiter or former clinician who enjoys travel, public speaking, and consultative recruiting in a fast-growing allied healthcare staffing environment.
Key Responsibilities
University Relationship Management
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with SLP graduate programs nationwide
• Serve as the primary company ambassador to universities, faculty, and program directors
• Maintain a target list of priority schools and build multi-year engagement plans
• Schedule and conduct regular campus visits (in-person and virtual)
Campus Recruiting & Events
• Represent the company at career fairs, information sessions, and university events
• Deliver engaging presentations on CFY opportunities and school-based careers
• Host student meet-and-greets, office hours, and virtual webinars
• Coordinate sponsorships and branded campus initiatives
Candidate Pipeline Development
• Identify, engage, and nurture SLP graduate students and upcoming CFYs
• Build and maintain a robust early-career candidate pipeline
• Conduct initial screenings and warm handoffs to recruiting team
• Track student graduation timelines and licensure readiness
Strategic Collaboration
• Partner closely with internal recruiters to align on hiring needs by region
• Provide market intelligence on university programs and candidate trends
• Work with marketing to develop campus-specific collateral and campaigns
• Support workforce planning for CFY cohorts
Travel & Territory Management
• Travel nationally to priority universities (peak seasons: fall and spring)
• Plan efficient travel routes and campus visit schedules
• Represent the brand professionally in all external interactions
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Communication Sciences & Disorders or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
o University recruiting
o Healthcare recruiting
o Campus relations
o School-based SLP or CFY experience (strong plus)
• Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% nationally
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Proven relationship-building and networking ability
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Experience using ATS/CRM systems
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience recruiting SLPs or CFYs
• Existing relationships with SLP graduate programs
• Background in allied health or education staffing
• Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment
• Familiarity with ASHA certification and state licensure timelines
Compensation
• Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
• Performance Bonus: tied to hires and pipeline metrics
