Job Description
ertified Behavioral Analyst, with the highest degree of fidelity with all levels and abilities of clients
Serve as back-up where appropriate, fill in for CA/ACA, COM if out, assist BCBA, CA/ACA, COM so that Leadership can have a concentrated time to focus on tasks.
Team Leader for a group of clients
• Respond to challenging behavior when BCBA and COM are unavailable
• Supporting BCBA with client program updates and material preparation
Center organization and (toys and materials organized, broken toys removed) and report safety concerns to CA (broken toys, furniture, holes in walls, etc.).
Duties & Responsibilities:
Schedule
• Coordination of session flow: may advise the Therapist/RBT on the overall session flow and work with them to execute client specific navigation of the physical spaces of the center. This would also include scheduling of center-wide activities, including but not limited to, circle time, gross motor room usage, snack/lunch time, group activities, etc.
Facilities Management
• Organization: responsible for the organization of therapy rooms, toys and client materials, based on age appropriateness. It is the responsibility of everyone in the center to contribute to the overall organization of the center.
• Safety Checks: responsible for completing a walkthrough of the center weekly to conduct safety checks and report any concerns directly to the CA/ACA. This could include, but is not limited to, removal/ reporting of broken toys, property destruction occurrences, and/or safety concerns with playroom equipment or furniture, etc. The CA may assist with safety checks but is the owner of purchasing and/or scheduling repairs as necessary based on SRBT reports.
Parent Communication
• Customer Service: contributes to the overall customer experience through their daily parent interactions related to on-the-floor application within therapy. SRBT shares joint responsibility in modeling effective customer interactions to therapist/RBTs.
Clinical Quality
• LEARN Tree: may assist with the LEARN Tree by updating client’s programming under the BCBAs guidance, and programming direction provided by the BCBA
• Plan Updates: may assist and contribute with these updates through observations of clients, and by assisting with the re-assessments and initial assessments of clients through material preparation and/or assisting with an assessment with the BCBA.
RBT/Therapists: Contribute and/or serve as back-up as appropriate to the following: New Hire Introductions, New Hire training, Training, Daily note quality check.
Requirements:
• Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
• RBT V
• Be able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Written and verbal skills
• Must be willing to learn and implement new skills as well as the ability to work on a team
• Performs other duties as assigned.
