Job Description
Position: Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
Location:
Springfield Public School District
Closing Date: 06/26/2026
Qualifications:
• High school diploma and experience with working with children with disabilities, including those with autism, preferred;
• At least 60 credits of study at an institute of higher education, or an Associate's degree or a passing score on the Para Pro exam;
• Maintain Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) certification as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT);
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and experience in developing and evaluating programs based upon the principles of ABA;
• Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents;
• Understanding of and familiarity with the characteristics for a wide range of disabilities;
• Demonstrated management, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
