Job Description

l setting, supporting students in self-contained autism classrooms. The position involves working directly with 33 to 43 students across multiple elementary schools including Walnut Trails Elementary, Minooka Primary Center, and Minooka Elementary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver teletherapy speech-language services tailored to the needs of students with autism and other special education requirements
• Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and document student progress
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom environment
• Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and provide professional recommendations
• Maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations regarding speech therapy services

Desired Qualifications:
• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with experience in school-based settings
• Expertise in telespeech and teletherapy service delivery
• Ability to manage caseloads of 33 to 43 students effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to supporting students with autism through evidence-based intervention

This position offers a contract term through the 2025-2026 school year with full-time hours ranging from 32.5 to 37.5 per week. Candidates with proven school experience and teletherapy capabilities are encouraged to apply.
