Job Description

Clinical Skills Trainer (ABA) – On-Site | Full-Time | West Contra Costa

Locations: Richmond, San Pablo, Oakland
Bilingual Preferred

About the Role

Behavior Treatment & Analysis (BTA) is seeking a motivated Clinical Skills Trainer (ABA) to support clinical quality, staff development, and treatment fidelity across the Ventura region. This full-time, on-site role focuses on training, coaching, and supporting Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior technicians (RBTs) across home setting.

Schedule
• Full-time, on-site
• Monday–Friday
• Occasional evenings or Saturdays based on training and staffing needs

Key Responsibilities
• Lead staff trainings, onboarding, and Safety-Care sessions
• Provide hands-on coaching, shadowing, and clinical modeling for BTs
• Support treatment fidelity, staff competency, and ABA best practices
• Provide session coverage and real-time performance feedback as needed
• Track training attendance and documentation in CentralReach
• Travel throughout the region to support home and community-based services

Qualifications & Requirements
• Active RBT certification in good standing required
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, or related field preferred
• 3–4 years of ABA experience preferred
• Strong coaching, communication, and mentorship skills
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record required
• Availability for occasional afternoons/evenings
