Practice Info
• Primarily encompasses outpatient care and outpatient surgery
• Provide a full range of medical, procedural, and surgical care in general Otolaryngology to adult patients
• Work with inpatients, participating in discharge planning and interdisciplinary patient care plan activities

Responsibilities
• Participate in resident and medical student conferences and educational activities
• Provide a full range of medical, procedural, and surgical care in general Otolaryngology to adult patients
• Participate effectively in team meetings and treatment planning conferences and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Serve on hospital committees and peer review programs
• Complete patient encounter notes and correctly code visits in accordance with coding guidelines
• Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary patient care plan activities for inpatients
• Promptly respond to calls when contacted
• Attend mandatory meetings and any other meeting or focus group assigned

Compensation
• Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus) is Authorized
• Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
• Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement for CME (must be full-time with board certification)

Requirements
• Board eligible or certified Otolaryngologist
• U.S. Citizenship
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree from an approved school
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
• Completion of residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
• Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program
• Participation in the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination program

  • This role focuses on providing comprehensive outpatient care, including medical, procedural, and surgical services, to adult patients with diseases of the ears, nose, sinuses, larynx, mouth, and throat, as well as structures of the neck and face
