Position Details:
• Location: Central Falls, RI
• Setting: School-based, contract role
• Weekly Hours: 35 hours during current school year; ESY runs 4 days a week from 8 AM to 12 PM; fall schedule increases to 40 hours per week
• Summer work opportunities available
• Assignments include 1:1 support within ASD classrooms, ensuring each student receives dedicated attention from an RBT
• Note: BCBA support will begin in the fall; until then, RBT assignments may be temporarily on hold
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support tailored to individual students with ASD
• Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision
• Collaborate with special education staff and school teams to promote student success
• Maintain accurate data collection and documentation as required
• Adapt techniques and interventions based on student progress and feedback
Qualifications:
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and documentation skills
