Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students, addressing developmental and functional needs
• Conduct evaluations and interpret assessment results to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Write IEPs aligned with student goals and state regulations
• Complete Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) reports accurately and on time
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to implement interventions and monitor progress
• Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards in school-based therapy
Qualifications:
• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan
• Experience working with elementary school students preferred
• Proficiency in writing IEPs and conducting comprehensive evaluations
• Knowledge of MET report requirements and school-based therapy documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in the school setting
