Job Description

between 8:30AM to 5:30PM
• Minimum Availability: 12 Hours/3 Days
• Pay: $22–$28/hr (based on experience, certification, and education).
• Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required or willingness to become certified within 90 days (paid training included!).

As a School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional, you’ll provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students with autism and other developmental differences. You’ll help students develop communication, social, and life skills while fostering a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment.

What You’ll Do:
• Provide behavioral and educational support in a school setting.
• Implement individualized programs and collect data to track progress.
• Teach communication, social, play, and self-help skills.
• Encourage independence and build positive relationships with students.
• Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For:
• Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
• RBT certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in related field preferred).
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Required immunizations including MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hep B, and TB clearance (within 4 years).
