Job Description

Put your skills as a Registered Behavior Technician to work making a meaningful difference for young learners. A nearby elementary school seeks a dynamic CBT/RBT for a contract position, where youll provide essential support for students with behavioral and developmental needs. Working within a collaborative educational environment, youll deliver targeted interventions, collect and track critical student data, and help shape positive behaviors that foster academic achievement.

Key Qualifications:
• Active CBT/RBT certification or licensure
• Ability to pass WSP and FBI background checks, including a sexual misconduct clearance
• Valid Washington State drivers license or reliable means of transportation
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required

In this role, youll:
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs
• Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and related service providers across one elementary school
• Consistently record and report data on student behavior and progress
• Deliver one-on-one or small group instruction and support, adapting strategies as needed
• Play a key role in helping create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for all students
• Communicate progress and observations with the instructional team, contributing to ongoing plan development
