Location: Thornton, CO 80241
Position: Special Education Teacher
Pay Rate: $54.96/hr
Duration: 13 weeks
Expected Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm

Job Summary

SPED Teacher needed for a SLS/Autism Center-Based program.
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Case Load: around 10
• Age Group: K-5
• Population: Students w/ autism or ASD similar needs,
• Classroom Support: manage and train 5-6 paraprofessionals, utilize AAC devices and visual supports
• Special Requirements: CPI training within first 90 days
• Experienced Required: Special education teaching, writing IEP
• Additional info: Heavy preference to candidates with ASD experience, working with non-verbal students and managing adult
